I’m on a mission to prevent childhood drownings

Here’s the truth: You don’t need to strap a flotation device to your child every time you're in the water. You need swim lessons that can guarantee independent swimming skills.

I'm not your typical swim instructor

I’m more like a water safety expert with 20 years of teaching experience. Because I know you want your family to be as safe as possible around the water… and need your kids to have the skills to self rescue.

That's why when you join East Sac ISR lessons, everyone in the family will feel more confident, not just your swimmer.

In a nutshell? I’ll teach you how to prevent an accident from occurring, and teach your child what to do if one ever does happen.

HOW’D WE GET HERE, YOU ASK?

Before I was an ISR instructor, I was working a full time job & teaching traditional swim lessons. I taught 20 hours a week on top of my “real job,” mostly because, as a retired competitive swimmer, I loved teaching and being in the pool. Basically, I was teaching because it was fun, not because swimming is a lifesaving skill that all children need.

I never thought about starting my own business. I wracked my brain for ways I could reach more kids, but I just didn’t have the time. Within weeks, I dropped it all and was in Arizona learning how to teach babies to self rescue.

The first time I watched a baby roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe during my instructor training, I felt instant relief. I knew these little ones were capable of learning these skills, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be able to help in such an impactful way.

Quickly, it became clear that East Sac ISR would be my full time job. The business of helping your babies became my baby. That’s when this job turned into a mission:

Saving Little Lives™

“From day 1 of lessons I immediately felt comfortable and trusted Caitlin with my baby.”
